The blogs I write are genuinely intended to be of interest to readers and to provide a nugget or two of value. I love writing them…and I fully understand the point of content marketing is to establish oneself as an expert, generate trust, and provide value. Yep, that’s always been my intention. I believe this creates relationships, a consistent touchpoint with readers, and will lead to referrals. It does and it works. Candidly, I’m always humbled when I see the number of people who read my silly little rants and insights.
I’m now going to break all the rules and shamelessly ask for help for my own self-promotion.
At this time, I’m in the final stages of completing a book entitled The Aspiring Solopreneur: A Guide to Successfully Building and Launching Your Best Life, which is planned to be launched in Q1 2019. The book’s purpose is to provide the tools to help individuals currently working in a company identify what sort of life they want to live, research what it takes to go out on their own, build a plan, and then smoothly and safely transition to their ideal Solopreneur Life. I believe this holds value by assisting smart, hardworking people to pursue their dreams with less confusion and a much higher likelihood for success.
As part of this launch, I’m in the process of creating a new website, www.solopreneur-life.com, and a new YouTube channel, both of which offer tools and tips on becoming a solopreneur and how to maximize one’s skills. The second side of this focuses on individuals living their Best Solopreneur Life. This is where I’m asking for help.
Reka and I feel that we’re living our Best Life – today. Can we improve? Of course, we all can! However, we want to lead by example and hopefully inspire others to go out and achieve their Best Life. This isn’t just because our accountant told us we can write off our adventures if I blog about them and video the events. We do want others to go out and embrace what amazing times we live in…on their terms. Because of this, we’ve created a YouTube channel:
We’d love to have you check it out and click on ‘Subscribe’. We need 100 folks to subscribe before YouTube will index our channel the way it needs to be. So, please take a peek, share the link, and click ‘Subscribe’.
I would then urge you to think about what it is that you’d really like to do, but aren’t currently doing. Write it down and let it percolate. Come back to it in a week and if it’s still something you really want to do, create a plan to go out and get it. This method works for us…and it’s so worth it.
Thank you for your patience with my shameless promotion.
